    Rose Yen 
    YAIC President


    Rose is a senior majoring in Diplomacy with a double major in Philosophy. She is originally from Taichung, but now she lives in Taipei. This is her third year serving in YAIC and she will also be leading YAIC & YAIC Weekly this year. Rose is proud of her outstanding staff and she is glad to see the club flourish. She always encourages people to stand up for their dreams -- the best and easiest way is to join YAIC!

    Brian is a sophomore majoring in Arabic literature. He is a Gemini and this makes him a person with an extrovert personality. Brian views the world in a critical and creative way and he loves to try new things. Outside of MUN, Brian loves to read and he travels a lot.

    Alice majors in Journalism at NCCU. She loves to meet new friends and this is why she enjoys traveling very much. Apart from Chinese and English, Alice is currently learning Japanese, German and Spanish. She would say the happiness of learning and putting efforts in YAIC is an experience beyond description. 








    Jerry Cheng

    Jerry Cheng is a freshman majoring in Journalism at NCCU. He feels lucky to be able to go to college in his hometown -- Taipei. Jerry joined YAIC simply because he loves doing MUN from which he gets to learn the globe in a comprehensive way. His experience of being the delegate of Australia in the General Assembly was terrific. Jerry sees the true value of MUN and wishes to make YAIC better. Aside from all of these, he is, in fact, a die-hard fan of metal music and have learned guitar for seven straight years. In his words, playing guitar is another thing apart from MUN that he will keep doing until being put into coffin.


     

    
    
    Amity Hsieh

    Amity Hsieh loves telling others that she’s a Taiwanese and she’s proud of being so though she does have a strange accent when speaking Chinese. Fascinated with law and politics, she currently concentrates on Public Administration in National Chengchi University. She looks forward to studying international criminal law in the future. Amity adores traveling a lot and is rather spellbound by the wonder of languages. She is now learning Italian herself and tutors Chinese. In addition to an amiable and adventurous character, she enjoys being alone at times just to play her music. Amity is actually a song writer. She taught herself to play the guitar, and playing music is something she considers a part of her life. Amity learned a lot from her latest MUN she attended last year, and she hopes to take up more challenges this year. Feel free to talk to her because she can’t wait to make friends! 


    Sarah Rachelle Liu

    Sarah Rachelle Liu is a freshman at National ChengChi University majoring in English and is also learning French at Alliance française de Taïwan. Rachelle (pronounced as 'ha-shell') is her French name and it became her middle name after she found out that there were hundreds and thousands of Sarah Liu on Facebook. She joined YAIC because of being curious about things happening around the world and she wishes to have more profound view of them. Initially, she didn't expect herself to participate in MUN because debating was totally not her style. However, YAIC makes her realize that MUN isn't all about debating.Therefore, she decides to give it a try in the upcoming AIMUN. Outside of YAIC, she is also a trainee of 'NCCU Pilot' -- a campus touring guide club. During her free time, she loves studying cultural relics, fashion design, architecture and upholstery. She also enjoys reading fictions and listening to rock'n roll music. 



    Brook Wang

    Brook is sophomore major in Diplomacy. She was born and raised in Kaohsiung. Brook came to Taipei when she was 19, to spend her university life at National ChengChi University. The reason she chose to major in Diplomacy is that she loves Taiwan very much and feels it her responsibility to bring more international attention to Taiwan and makes her country a better place. Brook has only entered YAIC for a semester but she learnt a lot from people with different ideas 
    in the club. Outside of MUN, Brook is also interested in movies and music, she is now learning Ukulele. Invite her to play a song for you!



    Yusra Cheng

    Yusra Cheng is a freshman studying Arabic Language and Literature, she is also a freshman in MUN. She is an ambitious person with an open mind. Yusra hopes to get involved more with MUN in the future and she says there are still much she needs to learn. Besides doing MUN, Yusra loves listening to music, watching movies and reading.




    Jerry Chuang

    Jerry or Daffei is a freshman at NCCU, pursuing a major in Turkish Language and Literature. He lived his entire life before college in Shanghai where he takes as his second hometown. He has been involved with Model United Nations since his sophomore year of high school and is currently active within YAIC. Daffei has a special interest in international affairs and MUN is exactly the thing that suits him best. Learning through play, Daffei claims that he is studying MUN as his major while declaring a minor in academic studies. Outside of MUN, Daffei loves swimming, playing the violin and hanging out with friends. He is currently learning Arabic and German as well.



    Marco Teng

    This is Marco's first year at NCCU. He majors in Political Science. Marco has lived in Indonesia before but is living in Taipei with his family now. He learned his Indonesian when studying abroad. Marco cares about what is happening around the world and this is why he joined YAIC. Although he only fell in love with MUN in the first semester of college, Marco did make a few of his life-long friends at YAIC.

    She is a junior studying Korean Languages. She spent almost her whole childhood in Taipei, a city which is always full of vitality. Now, her new life is going to start out in a different way. Even though, she is alien to MUN and doesn't have much experience, she is most willing to face any challenge. During her free time, she enjoys watching NBA, tennis tournaments and dramas.
